Sandra is Registered Nurse who has a wealth of experience in Clinical Governance, Board Governance, Aged Care and Strategic & Operational leadership.

Currently, she holds the position of Chief of Governance, Risk, and Research at Southern Cross Care QLD. Her previous roles include General Manager of Retirement Living, General Manager of Operations, and Chief Operating Officer.

Sandra actively contributes as a Non-Executive Director to the North & West Remote Health board and has previously served as a Non-Executive Director for both Nazareth Care Australasia and Mercy Community Services NQ.

Her educational background includes a Master of Business Administration and Master of Dispute Resolution, a Bachelor of Education (Nursing), and Graduate Certificates in Research and Rural Leadership. She is also a Graduate of AICD and a Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia.
